Snow Day!

This past Friday it did the unthinkable....it snowed! It didn't just snow the typical 1 inch (when I say typical, I mean once every 3-4 years) but it snowed at least 6 inches!! I've never seen anything like it in Mississippi. Needless to say, we spent most of our day outside playing. Here are a few pictures from our day:

Ava didn't quite know what to think of the snow.

This snowman above I can't take credit for, but it made me laugh because it sported the Mardi Gras beads and a Saints flag.

Meet 'Jack' above (Caroline named him). Even though he wasn't with us for very long (we underestimated the power of building a snowman on a hill...) we enjoyed our time together. He showed us how far we had come in our snowman making ability. If you'll note below, this was the snowman we made in Central Park a year or so ago. Cute as a button, but not what we call grande by any means.

Last but not least, we enjoyed watching Emily and Byron respond to the weather. They did not move from the windows the entire day. Below is a picture of them trying to figure out what was going on.
